1. The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Programme
It is a programme for young students from developing countries like India. The fellowship is for non-degree graduate study for ten months.
Moreover, the Humphrey Fellowship covers expertise in human resource management, law, natural resources, finance & banking, higher education administration, planning & policy, communication/journalism, and more.
A candidate needs to have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years of full-time professional experience. In addition, they must have great leadership qualities.
2. Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation Scholarship
The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation Scholarship is for students who want to study in North America. However, it is not for students from streams like medicine, fashion design, film animation, engineering, public health, business studies, and computer science. Aspirants can claim it for a full-time Master’s, M.Phil, or doctoral programme.
It awards USD 100,000 to cover the programme’s tuition and scholars’ living expenses, healthcare, and one-way airfare. The scholarship is only for Indian citizens who permanently settled in India. Moreover, Indian students who are undergraduates from recognised institutes or universities and are less than or equal to 30 years of age are eligible.
Candidates should have a minimum score of 65% from a recognised university belonging to social sciences, humanities, law, fine arts, architecture, and related subjects. Those belonging to mathematics, sciences, environment, and associated subjects need a minimum score of 70% from a recognised university. Besides that, a candidate must have an English language certificate.
3. Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship
It funds scholarships for disease prevention, basic education & literacy, water & sanitation, and many more segments having high-impact and sustainability features. Once chosen, students get eligible for a maximum 30,000 USD grant.
4. Fulbright-Nehru Research Fellowship
The Fulbright-Nehru Research Fellowship is for Indian students looking for a master’s degree in a selected institute or university in America.
This scholarship for study in the USA offers a course in arts and culture management, including environmental science/studies, higher education administration, international legal studies, public administration, public health, urban and regional planning, women’s studies/gender studies, and heritage conservation and museum studies.
Candidates who have graduated from a recognised Indian university with a minimum of 55% marks and have experience in the relevant field of study may apply for it.
5. Stanford Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowships
This scholarship is for Indian students in collaboration with Stanford Graduate Business School and Reliance Industries. It is for a two-year MBA programme offering approx 150,000 USD to up to 5 students every year. Students getting an education via this scholarship are asked to return to India after completing their studies.
